Residential treatment program for adjudicated adolescent males located in Albion, MI seeks Family Services Counselor.
Problem identification and counseling of families of children in residential placement, work with referring agencies in service coordination, assist in community reintegration, relapse prevention and residential group treatment responsibilities. Work schedule is Sunday through Thursday. Travel 2-3 days a week required.
Masters degree in Social Work or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field and two years experience working with at-risk youth required.Bachelor's Degree candidates must agree to sign agreement to work towards master's Degree in relevant field. Applicant must possess strong leadership skills, motivation and courage. Health benefits after a 90 day waiting period, educational assistance program. The successful applicant must pass drug screen, TB test, criminal history and driving record background checks.
